Murray Jewelry was established in 1955 by A.W. Murray and Nell Murray. They began the long tradition of serving the Longview community and Murray Jewelry grew to become a well-respected and trusted business for Longview and the surrounding region. A.W. Murray has served as President of the Longview Chamber of Commerce, and Chairman of Crime Stoppers.

Today, Judson Alan Murray serves as President of Murray Jewelry with his wife Nancy by his side. They attend First Presbyterian Church and are members of Leadership Longview and the Longview Area Baylor Club. They also remain active in many community organizations including American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, Longview 20/20, Longview Museum and Arts, Good Shepherd Foundation, and Junior League of Longview.

Jud graduated from Baylor University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He is also a certified gemologist graduate from the “American Gem Society”. The American Gem Society – AGS is the worlds foremost authority in gemology. AGS is dedicated to proven ethics, knowledge and consumer protection. Jud is one of only two certified gemologists in the area.
