This elegant 1601 estate men’s stainless steel beauty is a 14K yellow gold Rolex on an alligator band. It is completely original with a champagne stick diamond dial and has been redone and re-polished. It is water and shock resistant. You can easily identify the mid-1970’s pieces by the acrylic dome crystal. The crystal is actually plastic while the newer Rolex’s crystals are sapphire and if you look closely at the dial, you can see the bezel at the edge. Newer Rolex’s dials are not bezel, making this 1970’s urban Rolex a unique dress watch.
